Professional Networking for Women: let's do it

We are launching a new training concept

Professional Networking for Women: half day training session directly followed by participating to a major networking event with the training group.

On February 9th the training is followed by participation of the group to "She Goes ICT".
She Goes ICT is a yearly exclusive event organized by Data News to put the spotlights on women in ICT. Two awards will be given that evening:  "ICT Woman of the Year" and "Young ICT Lady of the Year".
The training Professional Networking for Women helps you to get rid of the barriers stopping you from networking with pleasure ànd results.
If you think...

  • “I don’t have time to run around going to receptions”
  • “I hate going to places where I don’t know anybody”
  • “I never know what to say to start a conversation”
  • “I am not interested in shallow contacts”
  • “I find it artificial and too political”
  • “I see it as a waste of time”
  • “I am not convinced it is actually important”

... this training is for you.

We will focus on how to get the most out of your networking activities, with special attention to the challenges you face and the assets you already have.
To conclude this very practical and hands-on afternoon, we will practice together during a networking event. This is a new and effective way to test your elevator pitch, to walk up to a group to start a conversation, to step into a conversation, to get to know new people... and to make networking FUN!
Content of the training

  • What is networking?
  • Why is networking so important for your career?
  • What kind of networks are interesting for you? (internal, external, face to face, digital)
  • How to network and have fun doing it?
  • Do men and women network differently? How does this impact your career?
  • What are the main networking organizations?
  • Tips & tricks
  • Personal development points

All our trainings are given in a coaching way, with special attention to every individual participant. We encourage experience sharing and coaching behavior such as giving open and honest feedback. This is why we prefer to work with small teams.
